Your ITIN: in safe hands

Non-US citizens who need to file US tax returns must have an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). Getting one requires supporting evidence verified by a Certified Acceptance Agent.

Since 2015, we’ve been authorised to do just that – guiding you through the process, keeping your documents safe, and saving you the hassle of mailing originals to the IRS.

Step-by-step guide

There are a number of reasons why you might need an ITIN. In principle, though, an ITIN can be issued to anyone who does not have, or is not eligible for, a social security number in the US.

Here’s how we make the ITIN process straightforward:

  • File using IRS Form W-7
  • We’ll explain exactly what supporting documents are needed
  • Bring your documentation to our office in person – no mailing originals to the IRS
  • We’ll process your application immediately
  • The IRS typically issues ITINs within 8–10 weeks

ITIN Renewals made easy

Thanks to changes in the law (the PATH Act 2015), ITINs expire if unused for three years, or if they fall within certain older number ranges (70–88, issued pre-2013). If yours has expired, as a Certified Acceptance Agent, we can handle the renewal from start to finish – guiding you on the supporting documents and managing the application. Renewals usually take 6–8 weeks.

Your ITIN: sorted

Whether applying for the first time or renewing, we’ll make sure your ITIN is handled quickly, securely, and with minimum fuss.
